The Trailblazers Awards is one of COMTO Atlanta’s most distinguished recognition programs, created to honor the transportation professionals whose leadership, vision, and service have paved the way for progress across the region. Established in 2019, the program celebrates individuals who have broken barriers, advanced access, and made lasting contributions to Atlanta’s transportation landscape.

Honorees represent a wide range of disciplines — including transit, aviation, highways, engineering, planning, and community and economic development — reflecting the depth and diversity of Atlanta’s transportation ecosystem.

Their achievements continue to influence the region’s growth, strengthen community connections, and expand opportunities for minority professionals and businesses. The Trailblazers Awards remain a cornerstone of COMTO Atlanta’s commitment to celebrating excellence and uplifting the leaders who move our industry forward.
